Can’t catch me!

Hola familias!!

See you later, alligator!!

It´s not summer yet but... It´s boiling hot!

There´s nothing better than a refreshing popsicle in the summer. You can easily make these homemade popsicles with fruit from your fridge and it´s a perfect healthy snack!
You won´t believe how easy these are to make and kids love helping too!

Here we go!! Hi everyone!

Hi!! Welcome to a new school year! We are going to start with some morning routines for the circle time.

These songs and concepts are very basic because they are thought for three years old pupils, for the older ones we raise the level of difficulty, introducing more concepts and vocabulary.

GOOD MORNING:

Good morning, good morning,
how are you? how are you?
I´m very happy, I´m very happy
in my school, in my school

                              _________________o_________________

Good morning, good morning,
good morning to you!
Good morning mr. Rooster
cock-a-doodle-doo

Good morning, good morning,
good morning to you!
Good morning mr. Rooster
cock-a-doodle-doo

Cock-a-doodle-doo, cock-a-doodle-doo
cock-a-doodle-doo! Good morning to you!

We say Hello, good morning! to SPOT (a ladybug), and ask her How are you today? (by turn, one by one, they ask SPOT and then they say how they feel in that moment)
I´m happy
I´m fine, thank you
Not bad
I´m sad
I´m hungry
I´m surprised
I´m scared
I´m angry

TODAY IS.... (Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday)
AND IT´S.... (sunny, cloudy, raining, windy, stormy, foggy)

COLORS: (with flaschards and posters, songs and videos)

NUMBERS: (with songs and videos)

HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE IN THE CLASS?
HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE AT HOME?
THERE ARE ... BOYS
THERE ARE.... GIRLS

After that we dance a little with these songs:

Then, let´s have fun with these videos while we learn some vocabulary about numbers, weather and animals

And finally, we get ready for relax time and say goodbye to our pet SPOT

I hope you like these videos and what we do in class! Enjoy and see you soon!!!

If it´s the first session, the responsible and the helper count how many children are in the class, and how many are at home. They write their names on the whiteboard.
By the way, here is a very funny game for counting ;)

Sing the ABC´s

At 5 years old we do spelling exercises and word work

Colors review

Shapes review

If we have time, we sing and dance some movement and circle songs like

One little finger
Head, shoulder, knees and toes
