Last thursday it began the SPRING, and here you are a seasons video, I hope you like it!

Find the treasure (St. Patrick´s Day)

These days we are celebrating St. Patrick playing very funny games, like "Find the treasure". I pretend to be a leprechaun who has hidden the gold coins in class (chocolate coins, yummy!!), and children have to find them. They have enjoyed a lot!

SHAPES

En 3 años están viendo a Picasso y las distintas etapas en su pintura, entre ellas el Cubismo.
Relacionado con esto, están aprendiendo las formas geométricas, shapes; y por eso os quiero recordar que en este blog se posteó un video, "The shapes song" para que lo veáis.

Hi! next week we are going to learn about St Patrick´s Day, its history, the leprechauns legend, ... We are going to play games like "Find the coin", "hot potato", on the whiteboard... I hope you enjoy this day!!

Danza irlandesa

I encourage you to make special things this day, if you want, you can bring to school green lemonade (mix a package of lemonade, add yellow food coloring to make the color brighter; add several drops of blue food coloring, it will magically turn green!), or bring delicious green cupcakes (haha), or green coloured popcorn, green jelly... wathever you like!! and of course, I would like the children to come dressed in green!! We´ll have fun!!!

Os animo a que si queréis, llevéis al cole "comidas verdes" como cupcakes, palomitas verdes de azúcar, gelatina de kiwi, limonada con colorante verde... En fin, lo que se os ocurra! Lo vamos a pasar fenomenal!

Esta semana, con los alumnos de 5 años estamos haciendo una ficha en la que tienen que escribir cuál es su color, animal, comida favoritos y su mejor/es amigo/s. Me han sorprendido muy gratamente ¡y como muestra unos botones! Si es que ya se están haciendo muy mayores...
