Yesterday was the International Day of People with Disability. It´s a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being.
Ayer fue el Día Internacional de las personas con discapacidad. Es un día aprobado por las Naciones Unidas y tiene como objetivo promover la comprensión/aceptación de las personas con discapacidad y fomentar el apoyo a su dignidad, sus derechos y su bienestar.
Esta fiesta es tradicional en Estados Unidos y en Canadá. En EEUU se celebra el cuarto jueves de noviembre, reuniéndose las familias en sus hogares alrededor de un gran banquete, en el que el protagonista es, cómo no, el pavo asado.

En clase, los niñ@s forman un grupo de 5 y se alinean delante del resto de sus compañer@s, y van cantando la canción. A medida que un mono se cae, van "cayendo" cada uno de los niñ@s con su marioneta, hasta que al final, están todos en el suelo. ¡A ellos les encanta, y la cantan muy bien!
