Hello everyone!
Today we want to tell you about our school project called "Jaca Expo". This year, Infantil has been assigned Ireland. During these two weeks, we have learned many interesting things about this country and its culture.
One of the most famous legends in Ireland is that of the Leprechaun, a small smart elf who guards a pot full of gold coins at the end of the rainbow. We have also had the opportunity to learn about traditional Irish dance, such as Irish step dance, which is very fun and lively.
But the most exciting thing of all has been to see in person a millenary instrument like the bodhran, a typical drum from Ireland. A kind Irish dad from our school has let us and has allowed us to experiment with it, it has been an amazing experience!
We have had a great time researching and discovering everything related to Ireland, and we are looking forward to continue exploring more about this fascinating country. We are very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in this project and learn in a fun and enriching way.
We continue moving forward with Jaca Expo and learning together!

¡Hola a todos!
Hoy queremos contaros sobre nuestro proyecto de centro llamado Jaca Expo, en el que al ciclo de Infantil nos ha tocado representar a Irlanda. Durante estas dos semanas hemos aprendido muchas cosas interesantes sobre este país y su cultura.
Una de las leyendas más famosas de Irlanda es la del Leprechaun, un pequeño y astuto duende que guarda una olla llena de monedas de oro al final del arcoíris. También hemos tenido la oportunidad de aprender sobre la danza tradicional irlandesa, como el Irish step dance, que es muy divertida y animada.
Pero lo más emocionante de todo ha sido poder ver en persona un instrumento milenario como es el bodhran, un tambor típico de Irlanda. Un amable papá irlandés del cole nos lo ha traído y nos ha permitido experimentar con él, ¡ha sido una experiencia increíble!
Nos lo hemos pasado genial investigando y descubriendo todo lo relacionado con Irlanda, y estamos deseando seguir explorando más sobre este fascinante país. Estamos muy contentos de haber tenido la oportunidad de participar en este proyecto y aprender de forma divertida y enriquecedora.
